Q&A
-
After My 2nd Session, When Will You Need Another Touch Up?
If you want to keep your brows maintained, you will be required to come back every 12 - 18 months from your last appointment. If you decide not to proceed with a touch-up, your brows will last around 2 years and will eventually fade away. Longevity will vary per lifestyle and skin-type.
Microblading touch-ups are similar to getting root touch-ups for your hair. If you go when your microblading first starts fading, you can simply have the color filled in. But if you wait longer than your artist recommends, you may have to have the whole microblading procedure completed again.
-
Why Do You Need A Second Session?
During your 2nd session, we will go over every micro-stroke you had applied during your 1st session. Additional strokes may also be added to give your brows more dimension.
For new clients to Microblading, it will take 2 sessions to complete your desired brows and ensure longevity.
-
When Should You Book It?
You may book your 2nd session 4-6 weeks after your 1st session appointment.
Please note: if you decide to come back for a second session past 12 weeks of your initial session, this may result in faded strokes which may result in additional charges due to extra work that may be needed. It is your responsibility to schedule your second session appointment.
Brow PRE-CARE Instructions
Do not work out the day of procedure, do not tan or have sunburned face, do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, fish oils or Ibuprofen 72 hours before procedure, no Alcohol or Caffeine before procedure, and any Waxing.
Do not resume any method of hair removal for at least 2 weeks.
Exfoliate your brows area the night before your appointment. Therefore you skin is clean and surface is soft for me to work on.
Brows shaping or tinting must be done at least 3 days in advance electrolysis no less than 5 days before procedure.

Brown POST-CARE Instructions
Temporary side effects from Micropigmentation include but are not limited to: redness, swelling, puffiness, bruising, dry patches & tenderness. Though rare, infection is possible if aftercare is not handled correctly and cautiously. If you see signs of infection such as persistent increased redness, swelling, fever, drainage or oozing, contact your doctor immediately.
Stay out of the sun for 24 hours after your session. YOU Must wear a hat if you decide to be outdoors.
Do not sleep on your side until brows have fully shed.
When the area starts to flake, leave it. Do not pick, peel, or pull on the skin.
Note: If you accidentally scratch or pick at your scabs, it will pull out your ink and will result in an empty spot of a couple of strokes missing.
After 24 hours apply a thin coat of A+D OINTMENT with a q-tip morning and night for 7 days or until you use all the ointment in the container. Must apply once more before you shower.
Avoid sweating for 7 days.
Must keep brows dry.
Use a washcloth to wash your face to better control any contact with liquid substance.
